Finito…
It’s all over. She finished strong on the run about an hour and a half ago. I would have been posting earlier but the battery died. Thanks for all the messages of support, Allison appreciates it. I believe she finishes 71 in her age group. She was amazing. More photos and posts from Allison later.
Still going.
I saw her about mile ten about 15-20 minutes ago. She is trucking along. She would love to be faster but is still going. It’s an incredible feat these people are pulling off.
Headed for mile five…
Shes going faster then I can keep up with and will be closing on mile five of the run momentarily. Lucky for me it’s an out and back course.
It’s 3:10
We are back at the transition zone waiting for Allison to arrive. We last saw her a little over an hour and 10 minutes ago and she had 42 miles to go. So we figure about 4:30 she will come in maybe a little sooner. Hopefully my math is not to far off.
70 miles in…
And still looking strong and smiling. Well as long as she saw us anyway. The last 30 mile section was right at 2 hours for a 15 mph avg pace which should be perfect to hold on to some of her legs for the run. The rest of the ride is net downhill back to Louisville, so that’s an added bonus. You’ll hear from me again at the transition area.
